What's in a Name?


You might be wondering about the title of this here blog-a-ma-gig! Or you might not. If that is the case, you may wish to leave now. Really, it's okay - I'll wait. 
...Alright. Are they gone? For those of you who would like to know, it comes from this quote by Jack Kerouac:
"...the only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars..."

I love it. It reminds me to crush complacency when I sense it rising up in me. Also, it's rather poetic; the imagery is killer!

So, regretfully... I am neither yellow, of Roman decent, cylindrical, or made of wax.
